Welcome to See Sedona Blind Adventures at the Cosmic Dreaming Lodge, where adventure meets ceremony and every step becomes an initiation into deeper connection.
Here, surrounded by the red rock guardians of Sedona, you are invited to experience the Earth through touch, sound, rhythm, and resonance. Feel the pulse of the desert beneath your feet. Hear the wind hum between sandstone cliffs. Breathe in the wild scent of juniper and sage as the trail calls you into new confidence, skill, and freedom.
This is more than a trip — it’s an awakening.
Design your own experience — from a single day on the trails to a multi-day ceremonial immersion. Every journey begins with a personalized orientation to your cane, your body, and the land itself. From there, you decide how deeply you wish to explore.

Solo travelers are welcome to stay in our private casita, a cozy studio with kitchenette, private bath, and patio overlooking the red rocks. Enjoy the warmth of the fire pit, the scent of mesquite wood, and the stillness of Sedona’s starlit nights.
Couples or small groups of up to four blind adventurers (with their sighted partners or guides) are also welcome to book their adventures while arranging their own nearby accommodations.
“Sedona” Dave Epstein is a blind adventurer, inventor, and teacher dedicated to expanding what’s possible for the blind community. As the founder and CEO of Awarewolf Gear, Dave has transformed outdoor mobility through his invention of the All Terrain Cane (ATC) — a strong, lightweight titanium cane designed for exploration beyond the pavement. His vision and innovation have inspired blind adventurers worldwide to step off the couch and onto the trail with confidence and independence.
As a trail guide and teacher with See Sedona Blind Adventures, Dave leads with a mix of practical skill, humor, and empowerment. He offers orientation and mobility training, adaptive hiking techniques, and real-world experience on Sedona’s red rock terrain—helping each participant expand their awareness, refine their skills, and rediscover their own strength.
Dave’s passion extends beyond invention. His purpose is to shift the narrative of blindness—from limitation to liberation—and to remind others that adventure, confidence, and freedom belong to everyone.
Deborah Epstein is an artist, ceremonialist, and Myofascial Release therapist whose work bridges the worlds of body, spirit, and creative expression. Through decades of healing practice, she has developed a unique approach that blends creativity, science and ceremony—helping others release pain, awaken imagination, and remember their innate capacity to heal.
A sanctioned teacher of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition of Cross-Cultural Shamanism, Deborah carries the lineage teachings of don Oscar Miro-Quesada with devotion and authenticity. Through her mesa work, she guides others into sacred relationship with the living Earth and the unseen realms, cultivating balance, reciprocity, and reverence in everyday life.
At the Cosmic Dreaming Lodge, Deborah weaves together hands-on therapy, shamanic ritual, and the creative arts to guide others into deeper embodiment and connection with the living Earth. Her approach honors the body as a sacred landscape—one that carries stories, wisdom, and the power to transform through presence and awareness.
In her work with See Sedona Blind Adventures, Deborah brings this same heart-centered presence to the trail, offering ceremonial vortex experiences, energy healing, and guided land connection that awaken all the senses.
